It could be argued that WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption on all messaging is a better approach, but the company’s ties to Facebook may turn off privacy advocates.

At OpensoftHR, we really like this function which is much longer than Whatsapp’s delete message timeframe (as of this writing, it is approximately 1 hour 8 minutes and 16 seconds, which is rather short, if you ask us).
On a side note, even though your messages can be deleted within 48 hours, we advise you not to disclose highly confidential information on Telegram (or any other chat platform) as the other party can easily take a screenshot or use another photo taking device to capture a photo of anything you have shared.
4. Always be in the know

Also, the default option for Telegram is to be notified. You will receive a push notification whenever someone in the group mentions anything. Therefore, you won’t miss out on any important updates that are announced on Telegram.
If you prefer not to be notified and rather check Telegram only when you have issues, there is a ‘Notifications’ toggle function that you can easily set as ‘Off’.
